Pictures ‘evidence of life on Mars’

A LEADING Harvard academic has said new pictures from Mars give the clearest indication yet that life exists on the red planet.

Professor Brian Pearson, of Harvards University’s Centre for Astrobiology, described the pictures from Nasa’s Phoenix space probe as “stunning” and said they might depict a “contemporary life form” existing on a planet other than the Earth.
